Welcome to the Lake Muskoday website. A primary focus of this site is to provide news and communication for members of the Lake Muskoday Homeowners Association, as well as for visitors and admirers of the lake and its surrounding area.

Lake Muskoday is a peaceful, pristine, 75 acre lake that was built in 1925. The lake sits in the Catskill mountains above Roscoe, NY. Roscoe, which is known as Trout Town, USA for its world class trout fishing in the Beaverkill and Willowemac Rivers, offers restaurants, activities and, of course, world famous trout fishing.

Lake Muskoday has about 110 homes around the lake with a handful of year-round residents. Gas motors are not permitted, though electric motors are allowed.  It is an excellent lake for canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, sailing, fishing, hiking, and hunting. There is an active homeowners’ association dedicated to maintaining the pristine lake and supporting the lake community.

Lake Muskoday is a magical place where memories are made.
